Since the death of their father and mother, Ambar and Dika move to a nursing home owned by their parents' best friend and their son, Agus. 比起血腥生猛的导演前作《新版降头女王》，这次拍得过于保守了。片子大部分时间沉浸在历史与现实的“同时空交错”，却没有在恐怖桥段上花多点心思。那么大的宅子空间都没有被充分利用起来，鬼魂杀人的时机和逻辑都是混乱的。剧本也很单薄。
