与《四面警网》对仗的纪实犯罪片，无计划无技术的砸窗小贼陷入无上升空间的犯罪之路，因莽撞而被报刊炒作为大盗反而销赃难目标大，连累老婆为他不惜做线人只求老公能活着被捕。霍夫曼形象气质符合但演技实在不抓人，减分。不过有句港句，Volonte向梅尔维尔吹嘘的利扎尼流车载摄影真的牛，白天黑夜车内车外各种实打实地硬上，末段夜间追捕还追到巴黎地头上，gritty质感跟新好莱坞非常相似。
