Miss Blacklock和Bunny选得很好，尤其blacklock，看起来有种夏洛特·兰普林的范儿，平静中暗藏波涛。除此以外只有Edmund、女仆和比较man的那个老小姐辨识度比较高，其他人易导致脸盲。

叙事和铺垫上比新版详细，不慌不忙的娓娓道来，人物诠释恰到好处，尤其是原著最后引蛇出洞一幕也被如实体现，算是相当完美的改编。

经典版的马普尔小姐真是慈祥和蔼，看惯了新版再看这一版，觉得好寡淡，演凶手的演员长得相当有气质。
