A disillusioned TV personality accepts a drunken bet that he cannot hitch-hike around the entire circumference of Ireland, accompanied by his fridge. He embarks on a bizarre, funny and at times uncomfortable journey, which opens his eyes to a more relaxed way of life, beyond the confines of his cosy London media world.
