很好的把美国社会主流流行文化之中的黑人形象演变史做了一个很好的梳理，从野蛮人到只会跳舞的人，从黑人被剥夺了饰演自己的机会到只能饰演残忍暴力的角色，黑人在主流文化的形象一直被剥夺了人性。这种持续了上百年的文化洗脑让大众的某些种族主义观念根深蒂固，甚至连黑人自己都浑然不觉。片子讲的很有条理，发人深省，是个很好的学习美国种族主义的材料。
