As described in a film magazine, Bess Thurston (Gerber), whose no-account brother Jack (Pegg) is unable to support her, obtains employment in a dance hall. This shatters the illusions of Cheyenne Harry (Carey), who has fallen in love with her. When he rescues her from the advances of Beau Ross (Harris), Cheyenne's confidence in her is restored. 不知为何这电影会令人想起后来那部蓬门伊始为君开，到了求婚的时候角色站位和布景都和后者有不少相似。其实福特是很喜欢喜剧的，在他的很多电影中都会安排喜剧桥段，并不是刻意而是很自然的安排（虽然他的幽默感有时候还是会让人觉得比较腹黑），至于蓬门伊始为君开那就完完全全的是一部爱情喜剧（爱情童话）了。到了晚年福特在家最爱的消遣就是看劳莱和哈台的喜剧。。。PS昨天说了哈里.凯瑞和韦恩的一些事情，其实还有一件事情...
